    Trexo Robotics (Y Combinator Company) is enabling mobility by building powered wearable robots.

    Our first product is a robot for children with movement disorders such as Cerebral Palsy, and it allows kids to walk, in many cases, for the first time in their lives.

    We are constantly working towards building mobility solutions for all.

    We are a fast-growing startup with an ever-increasing backlog of orders and are looking for a highly motivated Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing team.

    The role focuses on managing, leading, and building our material handling, quality control, and production teams while handling day to day operations of the manufacturing team.

    One of your initial responsibilities will be to efficiently lead the team in reducing the production backlog and aiming for a 48-hour order-to-ship turnaround.

    Trexo's work doesn't stop with children. We are constantly working towards building mobility solutions for all. You are passionate about designing and building products.

    You also have a successful track record of building and leading a manufacturing team in a small to midsize company during a growth phase.

    Oversee the day-to-day operations of various teams, including production, supply chain, repairs/ service and quality assurance, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality assembly of Trexo devices.

    Develop and execute manufacturing and production schedules encompassing repair tasks, quality control measures, assembly processes, testing procedures, and shipping logistics.

    Provide leadership to the small manufacturing team, overseeing hiring, mentorship, and staff development, aligning headcount planning with sales strategies.

    Establish short and long-term manufacturing targets based on forecasts and provide regular reporting and updates.
    Collaborating with other departments such as engineering and business operations to align manufacturing goals with overall company objectives.
    Ensure compliance with industry regulations and manufacturing standards pertaining to product quality and processes.
    Supervise material procurement, supply chain planning, and drive quality initiatives.
    Optimize warehouse and production areas, maintaining cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols.

    7+ years of experience in a leadership position, managing at least 10 people, in the manufacturing and supply chain field.

    ~ Previous experience working for a medical device manufacturer or in a cGMP environment.
    ~ Can be an expert in one domain, but should have a comprehensive understanding across all manufacturing team domains, including supply chain, quality control, and device assembly.
    ~ Extensive experience with manufacturing processes for mechanical and electrical parts for medical device.
    ~ Previous experience managing and growing a manufacturing facility.
    ~ Exceptional communication, teamwork, and relationship-building skills fostering collaboration across the organization.
