    Description

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, particularly external affairs teams, to identify target audiences within identified growth markets.
  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to each growth market, utilizing a mix of offline and online channels.
  • Lead efforts to increase brand visibility and awareness through strategic initiatives such as conference participation, digital marketing campaigns, sponsorships, and securing speaking opportunities.
  • Work closely with the growth development team to understand their needs and proactively develop communication and marketing tools to support their objectives.
  • Create and implement tools, templates, and strategies to ensure consistent communication of TransAlta's value proposition and brand presence across all touchpoints.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results and achieve growth objectives.
  • Proficient in social media management, including strategic planning, content development, scheduling, and posting
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business goals and objectives.
