    Technical Sales Specialist, Application Modernization, Google Cloud corporate_fare Google place Toronto, ON, Canada
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
    ~10 years of experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
    ~ Experience with modern software development lifecycle methodologies and tools including CI/CD, container orchestration and Day 2 operations.

    Experience with networking concepts, including software defined networking, routing, virtual private networks, load balancers, firewalls, and logging and monitoring of hybrid-cloud workloads.

    Experience with large-scale virtualization deployments.
    Understanding of web application security, service mesh and mobile security strategies.

    Ability to understand a complex customer's existing software workloads and define a technical migration roadmap to the Cloud reflecting specific customer needs.

    As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will work as an enterprise hybrid cloud subject matter expert to differentiate Google Cloud to our customers.

    You will help prospective customers and partners understand the power of Google Cloud, explain technical features, help customers design architectures, engage in proof-of-concepts, and troubleshoot potential roadblocks.

    We deliver enterprise-grade solutions that leverage Google's cutting-edge technology, and tools that help developers build more sustainably.

    Work to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.

    Provide in-depth enterprise infrastructure/cloud modernization expertise to support the technical relationship with Google's customers, including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and partner directly with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to Google Cloud.

    Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as needed.
