    Description

    Raute is on a transformative journey towards exceptional safety standards and we're seeking a Global Safety Manager to spearhead this crucial initiative. This newly established role is designed for an impactful leader passionate about creating a culture of safety across our global operations.

    Your Role:

    Strategically develop and lead Raute's global safety initiatives, ensuring a safe environment for all employees and stakeholders. Driving multi-year safety development program.

    Be the driving force behind designing and implementing global safety policies, practices, procedures, and KPIs, and owning their deployment and continuous improvement.

    Lead and mentor local safety contact persons (matrix leadership) in each country / business, ensuring consistent application of safety standards and practices, and facilitate cross-organizational groups to ensure broad input and buy-in for safety initiatives

    Engage with senior management, providing expert guidance on safety culture and behaviors and to integrate safety considerations into all aspects of operations and employee lifecycle

    We Need:

    A seasoned professional with a Bachelor's or Master's in Occupational Health, Safety, or a related field, boasting at least 8 years of experience in field of safety, including some years in leadership roles.

    A visionary capable of bridging operative and product safety, with a proven track record in global safety initiatives.

    A can do and collaborative attitude to create the difference and have impact on stakeholders
