    MD Management Limited, a division of Scotia Wealth Management, has an exciting opportunity for a talented Financial Consultant, Regional Accounts to join our team.

    As a Financial Consultant, Regional Accounts you will be responsible for reengaging clients and actively promoting and referring clients to the MD offerings best suited to their needs. You will also play a key role in prospecting and expanding the client base.

    Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

    • Connect with clients virtually, by phone and by email to conduct discovery conversations and foster engagement regarding the MD Financial Management and Scotiabank offerings to identify new opportunities and ensure service alignment
    • Build trust relationships with MD clients through active listening, responding to inquiries, and developing an understanding of their needs

      • The Must Haves:

      • University degree in business, commerce or related field to financial planning
      • IIROC Licensed as a Registered Representative (RR), will also consider IR licensed
      • At minimum, the Canadian Securities Course & Conduct & Practices Handbook is required
      • Completion of the Group Annuity Sector (PQPAV) (Quebec offices only); Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) (all other provinces)
      • Demonstrated working knowledge of financial planning and financial services
      • Bilingual (French/English) preferred

          • Gestion MD limitée, a division of Scotia Wealth Management, is seeking a talented individual for the role of Financial Advisor, Regional Accounts.
          In this role, you will be responsible for reconnecting with clients and actively promoting and recommending MD solutions that meet their needs. You will greatly contribute to prospecting and acquiring new clients.

          Is this role for you? Your key responsibilities are:

          Connect with clients online, by phone and by email to have exploratory conversations and encourage their engagement with MD Financial Management and Scotiabank services, in order to identify new opportunities and ensure service alignment.
          Establish a trust relationship with MD clients by actively listening, responding to their inquiries, and considering what matters to them.

          The essentials

          University degree in business administration, commerce, or a related field to financial planning.
          Registered Representative (RR) license from IIROC; the Investment Representative (IR) license will also be considered.
          The Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct & Practices Handbook are minimum requirements.
          Group Annuity Sector License (PQPAV) (Quebec only); Life Insurance Qualification Program (PQAP) (all other provinces).
          Demonstrated functional knowledge of financial planning and financial services.
          Bilingualism (English-French) preferred.
