- 5-7 years of experience building IT Capital Markets solutions in large-scale financial institutions
- Minimum of 2 years experience in managerial/lead roles
- Degree in Engineering, Finance or a related discipline, can comfortably operate in both business and technology space
- Strong knowledge of Calypso front-to-back with emphasis on trading and processing of Interest Rate and Credit derivatives
- Strong foundational knowledge of derivatives with focus on Interest Rate and Credit - pricing/Risk, trade lifecycle, market participants, trading venues, clearing/settlement, regulatory implications
- Relevant knowledge of bond and repo trading- various flavours of bonds - IG/HY, pricing/Risk, role of repo trading in funding/BS management, trading venues
- Experience in the following systems a strong asset: Blomberg-TOMS, BondOne/DSTS, FinPro or SFCM, Helix Bondfire, Broadridge Impact
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry offering and trends
- Proven ability to drive and influence transformational activities with clear correlation to business benefits
- Can effectively manage support/enhancements work while simultaneously working on long-term strategic goals
- Ability to select, manage and coach talent and future leaders
- Builds relationships with and works with stakeholders to understand the platform vision, align and deliver on the roadmap.
- Documents business rules, functional/technical specifications, and process interpretations for assigned applications, process flows, systems, and business solutions.
