    Looking for a new opportunity?

    We are currently looking for a dedicated and self-motivated individual to join us as a Credit & Collections Manager based in our Toronto office. The role will report into the Director of Finance and support our offices in Canada and the U.S.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for monitoring all credit terms extended to customers and working directly with our Project Managers and customers to collect overdue amounts
    • Monitoring and maintaining up-to-date records for all customer accounts
    • Managing weekly collections meetings for each branch location
    • Working with our Director of Finance and legal collections firms to escalate problem accounts
    • Standard internal A/R reporting

    • Proactive & direct telephone communication skills with customers
    • Coordinate collection strategies for complex cases and legal actions as needed
    • A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to join a dynamic and quickly growing company
    • Knowledge of the Canadian & American construction industry considered an asset

    What You'll Bring:

    • Experience in a credit and/or collections role with a strong experience in the construction industry
    • Ability to understand and manage all type of deductions (retainage, holdback etc) & draw request
    • Successful completion of post-secondary degree
    • Strong administrative abilities, including proficiency in managing documents, spreadsheets & databases
    • Strong telephone communication skills
    • Experience with an accounting software package
    • Accuracy and attention to detail
