    Position: Financial and Risk Operations Analyst

    Role Summary:

    We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial and Risk Operations Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in analyzing financial and risk data, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial & risk operations.

    Primary Location: Calgary, Alberta

    Primary responsibilities:

    1. Analyze cash forecasts and prepare financing forecasts.

    2. Manage credit exposures to various counterparties.

    3. Calculate and monitor profit and loss.

    4. Develop and maintain credit calculations and manage expected credit usage.

    5. Prepare credit reports and execution documentation, ensuring compliance.

    6. Coordinate regulatory reporting submissions and filings.

    7. Manage compliance and risk management policies.

    8. Monitor trading activities, fees, price trends, and assist with commodity trade structuring.

    9. Implement Molecule/ETRM System, design risk monitoring and reporting, track key risk metrics.

    Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.


    • Strong understanding of financial markets, cash management, and credit analysis.


    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google and financial software applications.


    • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.


    • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.


    • Experience in regulatory compliance and risk management preferred.


    • Knowledge of ISO operations and energy trading is advantageous.


    • Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is a plus.
