    Primary Purpose:
    As a Supervisor reporting to the Manager, you will provide expert administrative support to stakeholders with diverse needs. Your role involves leading a team to deliver exceptional support to leaders within specific university portfolios.

    Nature of Work:
    The Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of administrative professionals supporting senior leaders. Collaboration, process improvement, and effective relationship management are key aspects of this role. The ability to navigate diverse groups and build credibility with senior university leaders is essential.
    • Supervises and coordinates administrative assistant team operations.
    • Works with the Manager on employee life cycle activities.
    • Deploys staff efficiently across portfolios.
    • Contributes to process improvements and ensures documentation of team processes.
    • Leads a team providing consistent support.
    • Ensures effective communication with stakeholders.
    • Acts as a point of contact for employee support.
    • Fosters a positive work environment and integrates organizational initiatives.
    • Works with various internal offices and acts as a floating assistant covering different areas.
    • Promotes open communication and collaboration.

    Qualifications:
    • Post-secondary education with 1-3 years of administrative team leadership experience.
    • Experience in a shared services organizational structure is beneficial.
    • Knowledge of cultural and socioeconomic factors impacting Indigenous Peoples is important.
    • Strong customer service, problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to changing environments is required.
