    Positionsummary:

    • Deliver the planned annual sales& profit targets for select categories while managing tradeeffectively.
    • Work with direct guidance frommanager as it relates to business planning and customer strategy.
    • Execute business strategies andtactics as directed.
    • Managing accounts that aretypically sophisticated in terms of category management and complexity.May be assigned to special markets/complex product lines that requiresignificant client relationship skills.

    Responsibilities:

    Customer AccountManagement: Demonstrate ability to drive sales results while providing best inclass customer service.

    • Customer accountability may rangefrom partial accountability for one or two large accounts to fullaccountability for multiple small accounts.
    • Lead strategic businessinitiatives & develop joint business plans with customers.
    • Negotiate annual agreements, promoactivity, listing fees, price increases & costing with customer.
    • Address retail pricing issues withcustomer.
    • Manage routine demand and supplyissues with customer.
    • Communicate changes to CAG policy,discontinued items, pricing actions, recalls/product quality issuesto customer.
    • Ensuring new products are listedand distribution gaps are filled.
    • Handle customer/consumercomplaints.

    Sales: Utilizeproduct, category, and customer and consumer data to identify opportunities andprepare selling presentations.

    • Manage new product launches.
    • Expand distribution of ConagraBrands products.
    • Manage multiple food groups –applicable items in CAG portfolio.

    BusinessPlanning/Financial accountability: Conduct sales analytics, using availableinsights to provide solutions to customer needs.

    • Accurately forecasting salesvolume & trade dollars.
    • Developing, implementing andevaluating trade and shopper marketing initiatives, based on insights.
    • Maximization of trade investmentsand efficiencies aligned to business objectives.
    • Business and category analysis.Developing & presenting category management solutions.
    • Understand and execute marketingplan sales material.
    • Monitor trade activity execution.
    • Evaluate customer specific reportsand standardized IRI reports

    RelationshipManagement within internal matrix organization.

    • Work in close collaboration withthe account team but also with cross-functions within Shopper Marketing,Category Management, Brand marketing, Retail Sales, Finance & SupplyChain to achieve the company's goals.
    • Partner with team Business Analyst/ Account Manager in reporting and analytics.
    • Communicate to other salespersonnel and functions within Conagra Brands as needed.
    • Maximizing all sales opportunitiesthrough alignment & support from the Retail Team.

    Supervision:

    • Reporting into the Senior BDM.
    • Lateral developmental move to amore complex Business Development Manager role.
    • Sr. Business Development Manager.
    • Market Development.
    • Lateral Marketing roles withinCAG.

    Qualifications,Education & Experience:

    • Post-secondary education inBusiness administration, Commerce or related field.
    • 3-5+ yrs. Consumer Packaged Goods(Foods) Sales/Key account management experience.
    • Strong analytical skills &proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Strong negotiationskills.
    • Strong business and financialacumen: business analytics skills, customer P&L agility, abilityto plan, track and evaluate trade management.
    • Proficiency in NielsenIQ.
    • Ability to make recommendationsfor solutions based on information gathered and analyzed from the systemspreviously mentioned.
    • Strong attention to detail andaccuracy of data entry.
    • Demonstrated ability to managetrade spending.
    • Strong technical, report runningand analytical abilities.
    • Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills.
    • Ability to troubleshootproblems.
    • Ability to work within a matrixorganization. Works with Account, Sr. Business Development Manager andSales Directors to discuss and prioritize work initiatives.
