    Our client a boutique firm has one of the larger foreclosure practices in British Columbia as well as a large contingency collection practice and we represent a broad cross-section of large institutional lenders as well as private lenders.

    Since 1996, the practice has focused almost exclusively on mortgage enforcement and unsecured collections which has allowed us to develop a high level of expertise in our chosen practice areas to better serve our clients in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible.

    They are looking for a SR PARALEGAL/LEGAL ASSISTANT to join their collection department.

    They require individuals who can handle a high volume of work, who are technically inclined, and who have at least four years of civil litigation experience.

    LTSA, BC Registries, & Credit Bureau searches
    Preparation of Notice of Civil Claim and other legal documents
    Dealing with debtor's enquiries and reporting to the collection manager
    General administrative tasks as required
    Intermediate to Senior collection experience
    Paralegal or Legal Assistant diploma from an accredited educational institution or equivalent
    work experience
    Strong skills and sound knowledge of Office 365
    Experience with NetDocuments would be considered an asset

    All applicants must have legal permission to work in Canada and require a valid Work Permit and Social Insurance Number.
