    Join the momentum at MNP. We are currently seeking a Production Assistant in our Downtown Boutique to join our growing Production teams. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Strategically supporting the firm, our Production team anticipates the needs of our team members and Partners. We effectively communicate all levels throughout the firm in order to get important data out to our clients in a timely and effective manner. Our Production teams support initiatives and ensures efficiency in a timely manner, allowing MNP to better serve our clients and people.

    Responsibilities

  • Maintain partner calendars – Organize, schedule, and confirm appointments
  • Book travel arrangements
  • Maintain partner contacts
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Aid in the invoicing process for assigned partners, including monitoring WIPs, expenses to be charged, drafting invoices, finalizing and issuing invoices to clients as per billing deadlines/schedules
  • Issuing of invoices on a timely basis to assist with monthly billing targets
  • Review, sort, draft, proof and finalize clients deliverables and process e-returns
  • Prepare, review and modify general templates, letters and reports
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets for tracking of client deliverables
  • Assist in the creation and assembly of presentations
  • Conduct quality review (accuracy, completeness, appearance) of outgoing correspondence Track upcoming client year ends and monitor deadlines
  • Fax, photocopy and scan documents, as required
  • Skills and Experience

  • Completion of related post-secondary education in administration is an asset
  • Two (2) to four (4) years of related administrative/clerical experience
  • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Previous experience with Caseware, Caseview, and Taxcycle is considered an asset
