    Description

    This role will oversee all health, safety, and environmental operations at a dynamic manufacturing facility.

    • Develop site strategies, systems, and controls to ensure compliance and meet company objectives in environmental health and safety.
    • Establish and track key EHS performance metrics.
    • Create and manage company-wide EHS programs.
    • Identify health and safety improvement opportunities, document findings, and provide recommendations.
    • Conduct inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes.
    • Recognize risks, suggest enhancements to current policies and practices.

    Requirements:

    • Prefer candidates with a post-secondary degree in Health and Safety.
    • 4-5 years of experience in a similar industry.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to promote a culture of Health & Safety.
    • Prior experience in manufacturing is essential.
    • Knowledge and background in environmental practices are mandatory.
