    Project Cost Controller
    Construction

    An established self performing residential developer in mid town Toronto has an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Project Cost Controller.

    Do you have Residential or ICI Project Cost Controller experience? Supporting a high-volume portfolio of multi-year projects throughout the GTA
    Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost control procedures.
    Monitor project expenses and track against budgetary constraints.
    Conduct regular cost variance analysis and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures.
    Review contracts, change orders, and invoices to ensure accuracy and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
    Attending regular project status meetings
    Prepare financial reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
    Collaborate with project managers to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
    A/R & collections
    Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in construction cost management
    Special projects
    8+ years experience inProject Accounting, or in a Project Cost Control related position.
    ~ Extensive experience in cost control, and project management software and techniques.
    ~ Experience with contract administration, procurement and project accounting.
    ~ Experience gathering data and compiling project specific reports.
    ~ Ability to multitask and to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment while interacting with colleagues, clients, and contractors.
