    Description

    What you'll do:

  • Develop, manage, and continually improve FCL's fleet asset renewal program, fleet maintenance program, equipment build program, and retail delivery equipment manufacturing program by understanding and anticipating mid to long term needs in changing requirements.
  • Ensure fleet equipment maintenance across all zones and commodities is performed in compliance with all Federal and Provincial regulatory bodies and provide oversight and guidance to ensure the CSA B620 Quality Control Manual is up to date and that all manufactured equipment meets or exceeds the National Safety Mark standard.
  • Demonstrate a steadfast commitment to safety through demonstration of behaviors, actions, discussions, decisions, risk management, and other opportunities on a daily basis and inspire the same level of commitment in your team through both formal actions and daily safety responsibilities.
  • Develop and manage Fleet Maintenance function sales and expense budgets and Fleet Services cross commodity maintenance expense budgets as well as prepare quarterly reporting.
  • Approximately 10% travel expected.

    You will work closely with cross commodity transportation operation leaders, local Co-op leaders, Fleet Safety and Compliance team and the Fleet Services team. You will report to the Director, Fleet Services and will provide guidance and leadership to a team that strives to cultivate a culture of customer focus, problem solving, and continual improvement.

    Who you are:

    You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and:

  • Have 10+ years of relevant progressively responsible fleet and/or shop maintenance experience, including 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • Have a Diploma in Business or Engineering (Journeyperson certificates may be considered as well as a combination of relevant education and experience).
  • Have experience in the petroleum transportation industry and working with provincial and federal government agencies such as Transport Canada, Measurement Canada and provincial transportation regulatory bodies would be an asset.
  • Are familiar with Microsoft Office.
