    Reporting to the Manager of Tourism, Culture & Sport, the Tourism Marketing Coordinator will support the implementation of the Discover Brantford Marketing Plan and is responsible for the creation of several key information vehicles and strategic marketing programs.

    The Tourism Marketing Coordinator will monitor and make recommendations on the annual Division advertising budget; respond to advertising sales calls; secure local and external positive media exposure; implement a comprehensive Travel Writer/Media program including working with the Travel Media Association of Canada; and develop timely media releases.

    Other duties include liaising with local tourism businesses and developing collaborative marketing campaigns; coordinating ongoing maintenance and content management for the Discover Brantford website; creating regular blog posts; creating and distributing e-newsletters and social media marketing programs.
