    Administrative Assistant

    TC Media Books is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to assist the Senior Director of the Second Languages Division and her team in the various administrative tasks related to their strategic, editorial and commercial activities.

    The Second Language Division develops print and digital learning materials for English and French as second languages. Its publications are aimed at all levels of education and are distributed across Canada and internationally.

  • Draft and prepare various documents and reports and ensure the administrative management of contracts and agreements.
  • Update publication schedules and ensure the updating/validation of information concerning the division's activities in the company's operational systems.
  • Ensure the logistics of various meetings.
  • Process payment requests and ensure billing follow-up.
  • Assist the team in hiring freelancers.
  • Participate in the improvement of the team's administrative processes.

  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in a similar position
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English (regular exchanges with English-speaking colleagues and customers)
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat suites
