Role Overview

Join us as a Construction Coordinator in the Engineering Projects Department. Working under the guidance of the Manager, Airport Terminal Projects, you will be responsible for overseeing construction and related activities at various locations across Sea Island.

Main responsibilities:

Supervising construction activities, managing site work, and ensuring adherence to YVR standards and safety protocols.
Managing construction contracts, processing project documentation, and supporting the Project Engineer.
Engaging with stakeholders to address site issues and facilitate operational commissioning and handover.
Managing materials, including procurement, storage, and material deliveries for projects.

Key qualifications:

Minimum of five years' experience in construction management focusing on institutional projects, with at least two years in an airport or similar complex setting, complemented by a certificate or diploma in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or equivalent.
Proficiency in construction contracts, industry standards, cost estimation, scheduling, safety protocols, and hazardous materials management.
Strong communication, negotiation, and problemsolving skills, along with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Capability to identify and evaluate risks.
Proficient in CAD/BIM and project management tools (e.g., Procore or equivalent).

Salary Range: $72,008 to $94,115 annually, based on a 37.5-hour work week. The salary is tailored to match your unique experience, qualifications, and internal consistency.
