    Description

    The Coordinator, Student Support promotes and coordinates campus-wide student support programming and case management which emphasizes student development and encourages academic success, resiliency, and retention.

    The Coordinator is responsible for designing, developing, supporting and facilitating various elements of student support programming for at risk students.

    The Coordinator, Student Support works collaboratively with campus partners such as Faculty, Student Affairs, Academic Advising, the Academic Success Centre, Counselling, the Centre for Accessibility Services and other professional units and colleagues from across campus.

    An undergraduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.

    A minimum of three (3) years of directly related experience in at-risk student programming and support at the post-secondary level.

    Training in Mental Health First Aid preferred.
    Demonstrated skills and experience in program design and delivery, including associated training and program evaluation.
    Experience in designing, promoting and delivering peer-to-peer support programs.
    Strong organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication, and excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
    Excellent knowledge of MS Office and web applications.
