    About our client and role:

    Our client is a SaaS/IT company whose mission is to create well designed APIs that enable businesses to automate and scale otherwise manual processes.

    In this role you'll own the full sales cycle, whilst providing the best sales experience possible for the customers. Most importantly you'll jumpstart your career in an exciting field, SaaS is the new era of growth. If you're interested in venturing outside the norm and are ready to join a company with a proven business model, we'd love to learn more about you.

    We're looking for someone who has had proven success working Enterprise level engagements, has a knack for building long term relationships with C suite executives, can marshall resources both externally and internally to help win deals, and can think critically about how to improve our ability to move upstream.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and lead sales and high priority opportunities from inception to close
    • Play a personal and direct role in building and maintaining enduring customer relationships, up to C-level
    • Be the expert that articulates our company's expertise and capabilities
    • Provide technical, value-based demonstrations of the product configured to the requirements and use cases of the sophisticated and demanding organisations
    • Manage and lead proof of concept evaluations
    • Respond to RFPs and RFIs when required
    • Coordinate both external and internal resources in order to build momentum and facilitate agreements with customers
    • Provide market and customer feedback to inform our product and service roadmap
    • Work closely with members of our marketing, sales development, sales engineering, product, and engineering teams.

    Must have:

    • A proven track record exceeding quota and 4+ years of experience in a closing role leading customers through a B2B SaaS sales cycle
    • Documented success selling into some of the world's largest companies
    • Comfort with a fast paced environment, and a bias towards immediate action and results
    • A relentless work ethic, mental toughness, and focus
    • Ownership - willing to go out of your way to complete a job and a relentless drive to achieve results; you take initiative with minimal direction or supervision
    • The creativity to handle never-before-seen situations smoothly

    Required experience / skills:

    • A Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma
    • Experience with inside, outbound, or commission-based sales roles is an asset
    • Strong written communication and interpersonal skills. Highly articulate via phone, email and in person is a differentiator
    • Very strong work ethic with confidence to work autonomously
    • Highly motivated, achievement-oriented and excited to join a fast growing Team. Strong telephone etiquette and familiarity with B2B emailing is essential
    • Prior start-up sales experience a huge plus
