    Description
    As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives.

    As an Application Architect - SAP HANA Analytics Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP HANA Analytics solutions to meet our clients' specific business needs.

    You will work closely with clients, project managers, and development teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, scalable, and performance-driven solutions.


    Solution Architecture:
    Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into SAP HANA Analytics solutions


    Technical Expertise:
    Provide expert guidance on SAP HANA Analytics technologies and tools. Stay updated on the latest SAP HANA developments and recommend innovative solutions to improve performance and functionality.

    Implementation:

    Lead and oversee the implementation of SAP HANA Analytics solutions, including data modeling, data provisioning, reporting, and dashboard development.


    Performance Optimization:
    Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in SAP HANA Analytics applications. Implement best practices for data optimization and ensure efficient data processing.
    Integrate SAP HANA Analytics solutions with other systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and real-time insights.
    Create detailed technical documentation, including solution architecture diagrams, design specifications, and user guides.

    Team Collaboration:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, developers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.

    Training and Knowledge Transfer:

    Conduct training sessions and workshops for client teams to ensure they can effectively use and maintain SAP HANA Analytics solutions.

    Relevant SAP certifications are a plus.
    Must be located on-site at IBM office in Bedford, NS or Calgary, Alberta
    Required Technical and Professional Expertise
    Hands on experience with Universe Design Tool, Information Design Tool, Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports
    Experience with data sources BW, HANA, SQL Server
    Should be able to work with different technical and functional teams, business users
    Should have experienced in all phases of SDLC (ex: Unit / Integration Testing, FUT, Production Cutover and Hypercare).
    Hands on experience with Power BI strongly preferred
    Good to have experience/knowledge in Qliksense, SQL, HANA modeling, BW
    Must have good understanding and hands on experience in BW modelling (ex: extraction, transformation and loading).

    BW/ABAP enhancements (ex:
    start/end/field, other routines, data source creation/enhancements and user exits) build and design.
