Are you looking report to a strong coach/mentor that can help drive your personal development and future progression?We are recruiting on behalf of a high growth company located in Markham (one day per week in office) currently seeking a newly qualified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA-CA or CPA) looking to exit a major public accounting firm

Key responsibilities and oversight:

Assist with the preparation of consolidated quarterly/annual financial statements and related disclosures
Preparation/review of month end activities and periodic reporting packages including analysis of company results
Review complex accounting transactions and provide an explanation on the appropriate interpretation ensuring compliance with IFRS
Support portfolio companies, provide advice on appropriate interpretation of accounting standards
Develop presentations and commentary to showcase financial performance for senior managementThe company is offering a lucrative compensation package for this level including an attractive base salary, annual bonus plus other benefits. Full remuneration details will be disclosed to all candidates under consideration.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA-CA or CPA)
3+ years of progressive industry experience
Strong technical skills and knowledge of IFRS including familiarity with IFRS 15/revenue recognition
Experience with Great Plains would be an advantage
