    Description

    Location: Longueuil, QC—Possibility to work from home #LI-Remote

    mdf commerce Inc. is an international team of approximately 650 experts who develop a broad set of SaaS solutions to optimize and accelerate commercial interactions of its B2B and B2G customers.

    We are currently looking for a Business Partner, Human Resources to join our team. Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, you will contribute to the achievement of the business objectives of mdf commerce and its subsidiaries by providing support and advice to our managers and employees on all their HR issues. In collaboration with the Vice President and the team, you will play a strategic role in the design and implementation of various programs related to human resources management, particularly in the areas of training, compensation, performance management and organizational development.

    What will your main responsibilities look like?

    In this role, you will be led to:

  • Develop trusting relationships and strategic partnerships with our managers and business line leaders primarily based in Canada and the United States.
  • Advise and support managers in developing their leadership skills to help teams achieve optimal performance.
  • Support and guide managers in planning and implementing organizational changes.
  • Participate in the identification and development plan for the next generation.
  • Establish and implement an integration plan for acquisitions.
  • Advise and assist managers in the management of discipline, performance, absenteeism and various human resources issues.
  • Actively participate in various projects and activities of the human resources department.

  • Your ability to encourage and develop managerial courage while demonstrating flexibility.
  • Your discretion, diplomacy and impeccable work ethic which are inseparable from your expertise.
  • Your excellent communication skills and your ability to express yourself in French and English, both orally and in writing, as you will be required to draft various communications and letters and to support an internal English and French-speaking clientele across Canada and the United States.
  • HRM experience in a strategic and/or business partner role (at least 7 years). Experience in the information technology sector would be an important asset that would set you apart.
