    Aon Is Looking For A Senior Broker, Mining

    Join our top-notch team and play a key role in delivering innovative solutions within Aon's Mining Broking Group.

    Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada.

    What the day will look like:

    • Participate in client and prospect meetings
    • Work with clients to develop coverage strategies
    • Collaborate with sales producers for growth strategies
    • Assist in developing less experienced Brokers
    • Build relationships internally and externally
    • Analyze client risk exposure and coverage requirements
    • Present marketing proposals
    • Negotiate terms with underwriters
    • Approve documentation for contracts
    • Cultivate relationships within the underwriting community
    • Perform related duties as required

    How this opportunity is different:

    As a Mining Broker with Aon's Mining Centre of Excellence, you will negotiate for the best terms and pricing for clients.

    Skills and experience for success:

    • 5+ years of insurance background
    • Expertise in Casualty
    • Experience in Natural Resources / Energy / Mining
    • Broker licensed
    • Strong communication skills
