    Description

    The Manager, Corporate Services – Multi-Vendor Licensing is responsible for leveraging their expertise in business contracts, software licenses, and IT asset management to efficiently deliver software license management services to the organization, optimizing license usage and avoiding potential penalties to CGI. The role involves providing expert advice on multi-vendor licensing models, managing the software lifecycle, and ensuring software license and contract compliance through extensive data analysis both within and outside CGI's ITAM system. Collaboration with internal stakeholders is key to overseeing software license entitlements and ensuring that CGI maintains an efficient licensing model.

    We welcome applications from North America, with a preference for candidates based in Canada.

    Your future duties and responsibilities:

    • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in multi-vendor software licensing, compliance, and software maintenance agreements.
    • Potential management of a team of license analysts responsible for monitoring and reporting enterprise-wide compliance with software license agreements.
    • Develop strategies and processes for conducting inventories, producing evidence of ownership and license compliance, and holding compliance reviews with stakeholders.
    • Advise stakeholders on license management best practices, technologies, and tools.
    • Conduct effective license positions to ensure alignment between deployed and licensed software, while identifying and rectifying variances.
    • Work with CGI management to address compliance issues, evaluate options to reduce licensing costs, and maintain open partnerships with ITAM leaders and procurement teams.
    • Assist in vendor compliance audits, vendor onboarding, and negotiation of software vendor license agreements.
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

    Required qualifications for success:

    • Bachelor's Degree.
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
    • Proficiency in IT Operations, software licensing, and customer/vendor relationships.

    Key Skills & Competencies:

    • Expertise in software licensing management, interpreting contract language, and compliance of various software publishers.
    • Understanding of inventory management processes, asset management technologies, and financial concepts related to software license management.
    • Knowledge of project management, communication, and data presentation.
