    CADTH is Canada's drug and health technology agency. We're a not-for-profit organization headquartered in Ottawa, with a satellite office in Toronto.

    We're funded by Canada's federal, provincial, and territorial governments, with the exception of Quebec, to provide independent information and advice to the country's publicly funded health care systems.

    Health administrators and policy experts rely on CADTH to inform their decisions about the funding and appropriate use of the drugs, devices, and services used to prevent, diagnose, and treat medical conditions.

    As part of exciting work as we learn more about the Canada's Drug Agency (CDA-AMC) and our future role in helping people in Canada achieve better health outcomes by enabling a drug system that is more sustainable and better prepared for the future, the Lead, Appropriate Use, position was created to facilitate activities and responsibilities related to the Canada's Drug Agency .

    As a new function for the organization, this will include strategy and framework development, assessments, relationship management, and evaluation.

    This work will include supporting programs and quality standards implementation, catalyzing best practices, and building capacity and knowledge.

    The Lead, Appropriate Use, will also monitor the international health and health policy landscape (in collaboration with other internal teams) to identify emerging priorities and trends.

    consolidate data and information to support decision-making, including developing reports, briefing notes, implementation plans, presentations, and other dissemination materials
    monitor the international health and health policy landscape (in collaboration with the Engagement team) to identify emerging priorities in appropriate use
    experience developing and presenting new ideas to senior leaders for consideration
    experience monitoring contracts and achievement of deliverables
    exceptional communication and relationship management skills
    the ability to translate complex information into concise and accessible insights for senior decision-makers
    the ability to connect key internal and external stakeholders to move projects and initiatives forward
    Fluency in French.
