    The Manager, Corporate Development will drive strategic growth initiatives within the organization. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and executing business opportunities, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), partnerships, and investments that align with our corporate strategy and enhance our market position.

    Key Accountabilities:

    The Manager, Corporate Development will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement strategic plans to explore and support new business opportunities in the gas processing and energy sectors.
    • Prepare and manage economic models to support business development and asset manager initiatives on greenfield, brownfield and new venture opportunities.
    • Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to align corporate development initiatives with overall business objectives.
    • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, evaluate the competitive landscape, develop competitive positioning and assess potential growth areas.
    • Perform netback analysis on regional and formation play types to help complete the economic picture of reserves and resources driving corporate business decisions.
    • Engage in the evaluation and execution of M&A activities, including due diligence, financial modeling, deal structuring, and negotiation.
    • Foster relationships with key industry players, investors, and other stakeholders to support business expansion and collaboration.
    • Promote the company expanding its brand, reputation and exposure within the industry through participation in networking, industry, government, and community events.
    • Prepare and present regular updates to the executive team and when required the board of directors on the progress of strategic initiatives and their impact on the company.
    • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards throughout all corporate development activities.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
    • CFA would be considered an asset.
    • Minimum of 10 years industry experience, with 5-7 years of experience in corporate development, business development, strategic planning, investment banking, or management consulting, ideally with a midstream or oil and gas producing operating company.
    • Proven track record in negotiating, evaluating, managing and closing complex deals in a corporate environment.
    • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
    • Comprehensive understanding of corporate structures, debt facilities and the capital markets.
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, capable of effectively articulating strategic insights and persuading key stakeholders.
    • Confident and robust relationship skills and abilities.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and adept at making strategic decisions based on thorough research and analysis
