    Description
    Senior Commercial Real Estate Law Clerk

    Bring your excellent legal real estate experience to a firm that values you Our Client, an innovative and respectable law firm is seeking a Senior Commercial Real Estate Law Clerk to join their Toronto office.

    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven years relevant legal experience and a great work ethic.
    Performs a variety of legal and administrative duties in the area of real estate law while assisting real estate lawyers with complex matters
    Prepares documents relating to searches, transfers, charges, leases, statements of adjustment, directions, undertakings, statutory declarations, closing agendas and agreements of purchase and sale
    Prepares electronic documents for registration, reviewing registered and unregistered documents as part of due diligence investigations, all in connection with our transaction-based commercial real estate practice
    Reviews and assesses agreements of purchase and sale and mortgage commitment
    Works directly with client in all aspects of transaction, prepares report and account to client
    Thorough knowledge of real estate law and of legal procedures, statutes and regulations applicable to real estate law
    ~7+ years experience in commercial real estate
    ~ Excellent administrative and research skills
    ~ Strong computer skills, specifically Word and Teraview searching
    ~ Flexible to work outside regular working hours when necessary
    ~ Completion of a recognized Law Clerk or Legal Administration program
