    Job Summary:


    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract PR and Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team.

    As a Contract PR and Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective PR strategies.

    The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in PR and social media content creation and community management, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and be able to think creatively to promote our brand and engage with our target audience.


    Responsibilities:
    Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies to enhance brand reputation and increase visibility across various media channels

    Plan, organize, and coordinate press releases, media interviews, and other PR events

    Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, influencers, and industry professionals

    Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on PR performance and brand sentiment

    Create engaging and compelling content for social media platforms, including Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok

    Develop and implement social media campaigns to drive brand awareness and increase followers

    Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure social media content aligns with overall marketing objectives and brand guidelines

    Analyze social media data and metrics to identify trends and insights and optimize future campaigns

    Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in PR and social media management


    Requirements:
    Post graduate certificate or university degree in Communications/Public Relations is an asset.

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in PR and social media management, preferably in the retail/e-commerce industry

    Agency experience an asset but not required

    Proven track record of successful PR campaigns and social media management

    Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content and adapt writing style for different platforms

    Proficient in using social media management tools and analytics platforms

    Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

    Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative PR and social media strategies

    Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with media contacts and influencers

    Knowledge of graphic design and video editing software is a plus
