    Job Summary

    We're looking for a Chief Technology Officer to join our mission to revolutionize company valuations. As the Chief Technology Officer, you will lead all aspects of our technology including building our core product, leading hiring for future engineer roles, and setting the company vision alongside the CEO.

    To thrive in this role, the candidate should be both a strategic thinker and someone who can roll up their sleeves and get the job done. You must have a passion for building the future of finance and creating bleeding edge technology that leverages deep data, AI, and machine learning.

    Chief Technology Officer Duties and Responsibilities

    Lead the product development with a strong understanding of data.

    Own building the MVP product, including choosing the tech stack, timelines and quality assurance.

    Build exceptionally strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to identify & support technology needs. This will include collaborating with clients and investors.

    Lead the product development with a strong understanding of data.

    Developing strategic plans and setting timelines for evaluation, development, and deployment of all technical, web, and mobile services.

    Ensuring technology standards and best practices are met.

    Perform quality assurance processes, integration, and system tests.

    Mentor and hire Engineering team members as the team grows.

    Studying information processing systems to evaluate the effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.

    Lead the development team in the adoption and use of best practices such as Agile development, containers, and design patterns.

    Chief Technology Officer Requirements and Qualifications

    Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, and/or PhD in Statistics, Math, Physics, Computer Engineering or a related field required, or equivalent education.

    Experience working for a software company, preferably in a founding or lead engineering role

    Knowledge and interest in leveraging financial data to improve decision-making and generate value

    Ability to create, design, deliver, and debug computer applications and other programs in Python or similar languages

    Advanced working Python knowledge and experience working with data engineering and data science related packages

    Experience with Python package development and building production-quality software using

    Ability to to create and share documents that integrate live code, equations, computational output, visualizations, other multimedia resources and explanatory text (e.g. Jupyter or similar)

    Experience with AWS cloud services: EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift

    Experience with containerization and Docker

    Confident in sharing ideas with teams and board members
