MPE, is seeking a Project Manager-Civil Engineer to join our team in our Medicine Hat office.

The successful candidate will use their technical and management skills to deliver a wide variety of water conveyance and other infrastructure projects.

As a Project Manager-Civil Engineer you will work in collaboration with the Municipal Civil Engineering Team
Prepare and review reports, proposals, expressions of interest, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Oversee a multi-discipline design and construction team on projects
Provide leadership, team building and mentoring of junior staff members.
Ensure applicable standards, quality assurance and quality control procedures are followed during the design process.
Prepare and oversee cost management of engineering and construction budgets.
Reinforces the development of standards related to our civil engineering drawings, ensuring best practices for project design and delivery, and when applicable sustainable building construction
Utilizes industry specific software and related technologies in design
Meets with clients regarding projects, progress reporting, and the resolution of technical issues, when required
5 years of relevant experience in the field of Civil Engineering and 1-year additional experience in Project Management.
