    Job Title: Proposal Manager – ICI Construction Toronto

    Company Overview: Based in Toronto, our client is a leading general contractor specializing in Institutional, Commercial, and Light Industrial base-build construction projects. With a proven track record of delivering high-quality, innovative solutions, we pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Proposal Manager to join our team.

    Position Overview: As a Proposal Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth through the development and management of winning proposals. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements, develop compelling proposals, and ensure timely submission. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your strategic thinking, creativity, and project management skills in a fast-paced construction environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, including strategy development, content creation, and document production.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, estimators, engineers, and designers, to gather relevant information and develop tailored solutions.
    • Conduct thorough reviews of proposal requirements, identifying key deliverables, deadlines, and evaluation criteria.
    • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and partners to gather necessary information and incorporate into proposals.
    • Manage proposal timelines and resources to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality submissions.
    • Develop and maintain proposal templates, content libraries, and best practices to streamline the proposal process.
    • Support post-submission activities, including client presentations, negotiations, and debriefs, to enhance win rates and capture lessons learned.

    Qualifications:

    • 10+ years' experience in proposal management within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of construction processes, terminology, and best practices.
    • Relevant university degree or college diploma preferred
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality assurance.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
