    Description

We are currently recruiting a driven, positive, individual to be the Manager of Claims Analytics. In this role you will be responsible for centralized management reporting, analysis, forecasting & planning, and orchestration in the delivery of business and strategic initiatives impacting Accident Benefits and within the mandate of National Claims.

    What You'll do

  • Supports and enhances management reporting, analysis, planning and forecasting.
  • Analyzes results and identifies emerging trends to help the Healthcare team to understand business results and to support decision making process.
  • Develops storyboards and strategic presentations for the SLT and other business units outside of National Claims.
  • Works in collaboration with the Healthcare team to establish benefits associated to deployment of each initiative. Manages budget within approved expenditure.
  • Builds compelling project messaging and collateral to facilitate the successful deployment of projects.
  • Establishes and fosters strong working relationships with peers, within Analytics, Data team, Finance, Actuarial and other Claims functions, ensures ongoing partnership and collaboration to understand market trends and industry insights.
  • Drives appropriate change management practices required to ensure ongoing functional success.

    • What You'll Bring

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred .
  • Strong analytical/financial skills
  • Detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy and timely delivery, comfortable working with large datasets to identify insights and trends.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively resolve complex situations and issues.
  • Demonstrated impact and influencing skills
  • Prior experience in insurance and strong understanding of Accident Benefits preferred.
  • Working knowledge and experience in multi year operational/budget/resource forecasting/planning processes
  • Ability to demonstrate understanding and strategic perspective on the insurance industry.
  • Previous experience in working with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong MS Excel (and other MS tools) skills
