    Work closely with the plant manager, shop foreman, and dispatch to find ways to streamline operations.
    Oversee logistical aspects of the fleet and correspond with Dispatch regarding issues such as available trucks and drivers.
    Liaise between drivers and management to communicate operational changes and challenges.
    Promote a culture of safety amongst the team, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures and transportation legislation.
    Provide feedback to fleet personnel about job performance including disciplinary action, performance evaluations, and informal feedback.
    Audit weekly payroll entries prior to processing.
    Approve, manage, and input time-off requests.
    Coordinate with dispatch for annual fleet permits as well as permits for trucks leaving city limits.
    Coordinate and assist Fleet Asset Manager to ensure all required documents are available in truck.
    Attend pre pour meetings to plan out truck access routes when necessary.
    Correspond with the shop regarding unit repairs and maintenance concerns.
    Conduct site checks to determine pump size requirements and access points.
    Participate in emergency site clean ups including oil, concrete, or mud spills.
    3-5 years of management experience.
    Excellent interpersonal and management skills.
    Previous experience working in the concrete and/or trucking industry.
    Strong computer literacy, including Outlook and Microsoft Office.
    Strong administrative and organizational skills.
    Class 5 license and clean drivers abstract is required.
    Class 1 or 3 license is an asset.
    Bachelor's degree in logistics or management is an asset.
    Regular work week will be Monday through Friday 9AM – 6:30PM. Evenings, weekends, and overtime may be required from time to time depending on customer demand.
    This is a hybrid position working both in an office setting as well as in the field. Bending, crawling, and lifting up to 50lbs is required while in the field.

    Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required as a condition of employment
