    As an OpenTable Sales Development Representative, you play a pivotal role in our sales trajectory. Tasked with igniting new business avenues and fueling revenue augmentation, you'll connect with prospective restaurant partners, articulating the benefits of OpenTable's reservation and guest management solutions. Your primary aim is to pave the way for our Account Executives by securing meetings for Core and Pro sales. By harnessing both inbound marketing leads and curated lists of potential clients, you'll be instrumental in driving our outreach. Your prowess in conveying our product value, encouraging relationships, and achieving sales benchmarks is paramount to our collective growth.

    In this role, you will:

    Lead outbound efforts through cold calls, emails, and social engagements to pinpoint and connect with potential restaurant clientele.

    Evaluate and qualify inbound marketing leads to ensure they align with OpenTable's ideal customer profile.

    Convert prospects sourced from purchased lists into viable opportunities for our suite of products.

    Showcase the benefits and value of our offerings, emphasizing their impact on restaurant operations and guest experiences.

    Ensure lead quality by evaluating their requirements, budget, and compatibility with OpenTable's solutions, funneling only apt prospects to Account Executives.

    Cultivate strong bonds with restaurant partners, positioning oneself as a trusted and knowledgeable ally.

    Partner with Account Executives to deliberate on prospective accounts, exchanging insights to boost successful conversions.

    Use CRM tools, like Salesforce, to supervise prospect engagements, update details, and ensure precise record-keeping.

    Stay attuned to the industry's pulse, including market shifts and competitors, to uncover fresh prospects and address potential roadblocks.

    Participate in sales-centric gatherings, trainings, and upskilling endeavors to hone product familiarity, sales savvy, and industry insights.

    Minimum of 3-5 years in sales development or business development roles, ideally within the hospitality, tech, or SaaS sectors.

    Detailed success in lead generation, prospect qualification, and consistently meeting or surpassing sales goals.

    Stellar communication and relationship-building skills; adept at understanding, listening to, and persuading potential clients.

    Proficient in delivering engaging sales pitches and employing fundamental selling techniques to captivate and interest potential clients.

    Robust presentation and negotiation talents, apt at customizing messages to address specific restaurant challenges.

    Highly organized, with outstanding process management skills, vital for streamlined operations.

    Prior experience in a call center setting, showcasing adaptability and proficiency in a high-paced environment.

    Self-starter attitude, results-driven with a proactive stance on lead generation and running sales pipeline.

    Great teammate, capable flawlessess collaboration with Account Executives and diverse internal teams.

    Acquaintance with CRM tools like Salesforce and sales improvement tools like Groove.

    Comprehensive understanding of the restaurant domain; familiarity with OpenTable's solutions is a plus.

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or akin fields is favorable.

    There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this Canada located role is $50,000 - $60,000.

    In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible for additional compensation and benefits including: commission-based compensation; health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave and benefits.
