Reporting directly to the President and working closely with the Chief Construction Officer and Chief Financial Officer, the COO is a critical member of the executive team contributing to the development and implementation of AWARD's company mission, vision, and corporate strategy.
The COO is responsible for executing on strategic, operational and performance objectives and leading a culture that attracts, develops, and retains high-performing talent committed to AWARD's values and culture.
Operationally, the COO will drive innovation, performance and profitability across the business.Contribute to developing the organizational vision, mission, and corporate strategy, ensuring alignment with short- and long-term objectives .
Overseeing company operations, project timelines, and employee productivity to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in project execution.
Financial & Risk Management:
Measuring and analyzing revenue streams, optimizing business growth strategies, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing financial procedures to enhance operating capabilities.
Assessing and implementing improved processes, technologies, and organizational policies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.Relationship Building:
Building and maintaining relationships with industry professionals and organizations to foster partnerships and drive business growth.
Construction industry experience is considered an asset.
~ Post-secondary education in a related field
~ Understanding of business principles, including financial management, strategic planning, and market analysis.
~ Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to deliver presentations and negotiate contracts.
~ Detail-oriented and well-organized, with strong planning and organizing skills.
~ Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
~ Willing to travel and work flexible hours, as required.
