    Job Title: Human Resources Manager

    Client Profile

    Our client, a reputable Toronto firm is currently looking for an Human Resources Manager. This firm has an excellent culture and a lot of career development opportunities.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Develop human resources policies and procedures;

    Manage employee relations and maintain confidential staff records;

    Create and maintain company policy manuals while ensuring consistency of practices;

    Remains up to date on trends and human resource issues;

    Provides advice and guidance to management on human resource issues;

    Evaluate and administer benefit programs;

    Oversee the recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding;

    Coordinate vendor relationships and negotiate contracts;

    Facilitate company change initiatives;

    Ensure compliance with Ontario Employment Standards Acts, rules and regulations, other application legislation;

    Develop, manage, and maintain Occupational Health & Safety programs and Emergency Response Plans;

    Organise and coordinate special events;

    Perform year end payroll reconciliations; and

    Additional duties as needed.

    Requirements:

    3+ years of Human Resource Generalist experience in a law firm;

    Strong technical abilities and proficiency with MS Office;

    Strong leadership, time management, and problem-solving abilities; and

    Excellent communication skills.
