Terms: 12- Months Contract
Health Standards Organization (HSO) is looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer reporting to the Assistant Controller for the accurate and timely fulfillment of HSO's financial operations in issuing invoices and statements to clients, as well as processing and monitoring incoming payments.

In-depth understanding of the Accounts Receivable cycle and applicable internal controls, ability to apply your knowledge to meet operational challenges while providing outstanding customer service to internal and external clients.
Working with Business units to ensure customer invoicing requirements are met, and timely follow up on collections.Crossing your T's and dotting your I's when verifying client accounts and working with other documentation related to Accounts Receivable, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
The HSO team is our – and your – greatest asset. Assist with month-end close activities and reconciliations.University degree or College diploma in Accounting, Business or similar field.
2 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
Technically savvy with the ability to pick up new systems easily (previous experience with Microsoft Business Central or other ERP systems, intermediate Excel, Microsoft 365).
Have industry knowledge and experience (public and/or private health care, in Canada or globally).Have experience with Project Accounting.
Know your way around data systems, specifically Microsoft Business Central.
Bilingual in both oral and written English and French.

Set your performance and learning objectives for the year in collaboration with your people manager.Take on assigned initiatives or projects for your role.
Be adept at recording financial transactions related to accounts receivable and reconciling the A/R subledgers with the general ledger to ensure accurate reporting.
