WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING... Maintain the financial records of both the Site Company and the Management Company of McArthurGlen Vancouver Designer Outlet in a timely and accurate manner ensuring integrity and compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate accounting policies and contribute to their interpretation to ensure quality of reporting and decision making.
    • This will include performing account reconciliations and open item maintenance for balance sheet accounts as well as the fixed asset sub-ledger and other cash accounts
    • Prepare monthly reporting for management and support the quarterly reporting for management and investors
    • This includes preparing reports on lease status / content and rental income. Maintain and update the Tenancy schedule with relevant lease information
    • Prepare budget and forecast documents, including capex & cashflow forecast for the Centre, working closely with the Centre team and the Senior Commercial Finance Manager
    • Prepare the required reporting for the relevant banks to comply with the covenants agreed in the facility agreement, book bank and other cash accounts.
    • Produce GST and PST returns for review by the Senior Finance Manager in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Provide requested information for centre valuations.
    • Support treasury operations and booking interest accruals on external finance and distributions to shareholders, to ensure accurate and timely cash transfer and book recording.
    • Listen to end users and include their feedback in the formulation of procedures and reports, ensuing information is meaningful, accurate, and adds value at all times.
    • Prepare annual service charge reconciliation packs for final billing to tenants.
    • Provide financial reporting and respond to ad-hoc requests from Centre owners to facilitate their decision making.
    • Calculate all management and leasing fees for the management company and ensure that they are correctly recorded and justified by providing supporting details.
    • Be responsible for the payroll accounting for the Management Company, managing the process with confidentiality and discretion.
    • Provision of information to external auditors, including any details or reconciliations of balance sheet or income statement accounts, and support on any queries raised.
    • Coordinate with the AP function to ensure all supplier invoices are coded and booked correctly ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data to enable the timely closing of the company's books at month end
    • Coordinate with the Accounts Receivable team to ensure aged debt is collected and support in the solution of any issue with brands
    • To carry out ad-hoc exercises as requested by the Senior Finance Managers.
    • All employees have a responsibility to comply with McArthurGlen Health, Safety and Sustainability policies.
    • You will occasionally be required on a rota'd basis to undertake duty management of the centre.
