    Job Summary

    The Revenue Operations Market Intelligence team plays an important and influential role in the strategic direction and go-to-market success of Equinix. As a member of the RevOps Market Intelligence team, this senior analyst role will report directly to the Lead of Platform Intelligence. The Platform Intelligence team conducts thorough "outside-in" and "inside-out" research and analysis, delivering valuable insights on the market size, addressable high-value market opportunities, market trends, competitive landscape, and customer and partner behavior for Equinix's Data Center Services, Interconnection Services and Digital Infrastructure Services. This role is responsible for identifying insights from analyzing internal and external third-party datasets, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, and synthesizing and communicating the results in compelling data visualizations, talking points, presentations, and detailed written reports. The individual should be able to organize data (both quantitative and qualitative) into easily digestible market and competitive trends and produce innovative content that helps drive growth and influences strategic decision-makers. We have a preference, but not a requirement, for candidates with a background in market and competitive intelligence with experience in the technology sector. Existing knowledge of the colocation or IT hardware industries, including the main competitors, secular drivers and business trends is a plus.

    Responsibilities

    • Collect high-quality data from reliable sources (internal databases, external supplier market reports, surveys, sentiment, etc.) that align with our research and analysis objectives.
    • Create, build, and populate enablement tools, dashboards, and battlecards for GTM and leadership stakeholders to be able to quickly gain a strong understanding of our competitors and market dynamics and enable self-service.
    • Track industry trends, competitor actions / strategies and key competitor performance metrics.
    • Establish regular meetings with stakeholders to understand and anticipate business needs and design / implement solutions to meet them.
    • Effectively communicate findings through tailored reports, presentations, visualizations & scalable insights activation mechanisms to meet stakeholders' needs in a clear, concise, & engaging manner.
    • Curate daily industry news and competitor announcements and determine appropriate insights activation.
    • Manage an addressable market opportunity model including continuous enhancement of data inputs and outcomes.
    • Understand Equinix's current and emerging competitive threats and propose initiatives to address them across key stakeholders.
    • Be an energy supplier to broaden the reach of the Market Intelligence's value-add spanning from the executive management team to the field.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Tableau, Excel, and other business intelligence tools is essential
    • Ability to distill analysis, crystalize insights and make recommendations based on analysis in both data visualizations and verbal presentations
    • Experience managing, manipulating, analyzing and drawing insights from data
    • Detail oriented with ability to independently validate / triangulate data and analysis
    • Passion for learning - self-motivated and curious, asking clarifying questions to research issues, business needs, and underlying processes
    • Exceptional written and data-driven story telling communication skills
    • Motivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and maintain strong team relationships, including cross-functional internal partners
