The Position:
We are looking for a passionate outdoor enthusiast to join our small yet growing team as a full-time Office Manager.
This role will report to the General Manager and CEO, while acting as a liaison between the employees and the upper management in all departments including sales, marketing, operations, accounting, etc.
Once management decides that this person is fully trained and capable, the hired person for this role will be given the opportunity to evolve into a role with higher-level responsibilities, such as assigning tasks to employees directly and more.
The Job:
Maintain knowledge of the company's goals, vision, and values to ensure appropriate prioritizing and to communicate effectively with the team;Translate work communications (via email and in-person) between the CEO and employees/external parties (English Korean);Support and assist the General Manager and/or CEO in all aspects of the business;Complete assigned tasks by the General Manager and/or CEO;Work with upper management and employees to improve workflow efficiency and employee productivity in all areas;Increase management efficiency and effectiveness by hiring, training, and managing staff and partnering with any related businesses;Oversee, report, and assist in assigning tasks related to, including but not limited to:
Requirements:
Bilingual in Korean and EnglishMinimum 2-year experience working in an office settingExperience in a managerial roleCompleted post-secondary educationPrevious work experience with Excel/Google SheetsAbility to accurately communicate information through emails and phone calls in both Korean and EnglishAbility to build and nurture long-term customer and staff relationshipsPrecise and detail-oriented personality with strong organizational skillsAn encouraging attitude and energy that supports the teamAbility to multi-taskAbility to travel internationally & attend trade shows 2-3 times per yearAssets (but not required):2-year experience in a managerial roleExperience working in the outdoor industryPrevious experience and knowledge using ShopifyExcel experience/knowledgeRetail and/or customer service experienceB2B sales/account management experienceBookkeeping/accounting knowledgeKnowledge of the North American outdoor industry
