    RoleOverview

    As a Senior SR&EDConsultant focused on clients specializing in Technology at ABGiCanada, you will bring strong technical skills on a team of otherSTEM backgrounds and work in a collaborative team setting toidentify and substantiate R&D tax credit claims for clientsacross Canada. This role will specialize with working with clientsin the Information Technology sector. ABGi Canada has worked withhundreds of clients in the architecture, engineering, software,biomedical sciences, oil and gas, manufacturing, apparel, brewing,aerospace, and agriculture industries. This role willbe a hybrid role based in Montreal.

    A Day In TheLife

    • Throughinteractions with clients and the ABGI Conseil Mission Management,identify activities eligible for the SR&ED tax credit anddevelop the structure of the claims.
    • Identifythe expenses related to these activities that are eligible for theSR&ED tax credit and/or government grants andsubsidies.
    • Drafting the SR&ED claimsor grants and subsidies to be submitted to the tax authorities, incollaboration with the client and under the supervision of the ABGIConseil project manager.
    • Document the claimsusing the relevant forms and technical reports to support thework.
    • Assist clients in the Canada RevenueAgency (CRA) audit process.
    • Participate ininternational collaborations with other subsidiaries of the group(USA; UK, France, Brazil).

    Requirements

    • Minimum of an advanced master's degree or higher inengineering, IT, electronics, or related field from an accrediteduniversity
    • Minimum of one to five years ofexperience as a SR&ED consultant within a professionalservices organization
    • Knowledge of theSR&ED program and other government incentives
    • Ability to understand technological issues and to expressthem clearly to valorize the elements eligible to the SR&EDprogram.
    • Previous professional experience inIT, gaming, electrical engineering, electronics, mechanicalengineering
    • Excellent communication, bothwritten and verbal, in French and English
    • Ability to conduct technical interviews with specialistsin several technological fields.
    • Excellentproject management skills.
