    Description
    Sales Associate

    Our client is searching for a Sales Associate to join their team. This role will be responsible for growing the new customer base in Western Canada. A successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and as a part of a team. This role is based out of the Nisku office, with some travel required.

    Your success will be defined by your ability to:
    • Develop new business leads
    • Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects
    • Ensure all communication with new or existing customers are logged into the CRM system
    • Prepare and analyze data to build a sales pipeline
    • Offer support to department heads as required
    • Offer professional, effective and efficient solutions for customer inquiries and concerns
    • Handle customer concerns effectively
    • Provide guidance on price competitiveness
    • Participate in trade shows, training or associated product meetings when necessary
    Your strengths include:
    • 2+ years of experience in outside sales experience
    • 2+ years of experience in the horticultural or agricultural field
    • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent selling and negotiation skills
    • Ability to interpret and analyze sales data with the support of the sales manager
    • Proficient knowledge of all apps in Microsoft Office Suite
