    Description

    Build upon your IT career and gain valuable experience providing your expertise to a reputable Federal Government client working with the Data Analytics and Data Science Teams for data collection and transfer using Microsoft Azure.


    Our Federal Government client is offering a fully remote contract role for an experienced DevOps (Azure) Engineer to assist with data sharing of service-related data and insights.

    10 month contract and fully remote

    Responsibilities

    • Design, build and implement CI/CD pipelines to manage and automate code builds, deployments, testing and code quality check.
    • Develop and maintain scripts, tools, and processes to automate the deployment and configuration of ADF pipelines, SSDT SQL projects, Synapse Sparks Notebooks.
    • Assess and identify areas of improvements in the departments existing DevOps practices and recommend possible solutions for remediation.
    • Perform and manage scheduled deployments, as required.
    • Work with development teams to ensure that ADF pipelines, SQL projects, Synapse Spark Notebooks are deployed in a consistent, repeatable, and reliable manner.
    • Advocate DevOps and automation best practices, including code management and compliance.
    Qualifications
    Canadian Federal Government Security Clearance at the Enhanced Level
    Azure Experience
    CI/CD pipeline experience
    Infrastructure experience and knowledge
