    Description

    Job Summary: The Chief Operating Office (COO) will lead all operations activities, ensuring efficient processes and cost-effective systems to meet present and future organizational needs.

    You Will:
    • Recruit, interview, hire, and train management-level staff in the department.
    • Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
    • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
    • Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
    • Set, implement, and communicate the strategic direction of the organization's operations division.
    • Work with executive leadership to develop and achieve company objectives while offering expertise on operations projects and systems.
    • Collaborate with different divisions and departments to fulfill organizational goals.
    • Identify, suggest, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to enhance and streamline organizational operations and resource utilization.
    • Ensure that departmental decisions align with the organization's business plan and vision.
    • Establish and enforce operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures for consistent support and execution.
    • Review and endorse cost-control reports, estimates, and staffing needs for projects.
    • Manage the department's budget.
    • Present performance reports and metrics to the CEO and other leaders.
    • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in operations management.
    • Identify training requirements and ensure appropriate training programs are developed and delivered.
    • Carry out other assigned duties.

    You Have:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or similar field required; MBA preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with three years in upper management.
    • Experience in the CPG, packaging, or related industries is beneficial.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Effective supervisory and leadership abilities.
    • Thorough knowledge of industry principles, procedures, and best practices.
    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Great analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
