    What is the Opportunity?

    The Digital, Data & Technology (DDT) team plays a crucial role in developing and implementing digital strategies across all RBC Insurance products to make insurance easy for everyone, drive business efficiencies, and unlock growth with an experience-led approach.

    As the Senior Manager of Digital Strategy, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders in each of our business lines across multiple channels (Online, Advisor, Salesforce and B2B). You support the Director, Digital Strategy with establishing DDT investment business cases, ideation, opportunity evaluation, and building high impact strategic narratives and robust financial plans.

    Additionally, you will be responsible for the development and monitoring of key performance metrics against objectives and deepen market intelligence by maintaining an iterative view of the competitive landscape.

    What will you do?

    • Perform strategic assessments and gap analysis to identify areas of opportunity to better serve the end-to-end digital value chain across all RBCI products
    • Support strategic initiatives & pilots by preparing analysis, strategic rationale, market sizing, and maintaining a keen eye on defining and tracking financials and NIE benefits
    • Lead the monitoring and reporting of OKRs and targets across strategic initiatives and DDT team broadly
    • Deepen market intelligence by conducting industry scans for digital best practices and disruption risk, and partnership and vendor assessments
    • Build and communicate compelling digital strategies and narratives with particular focus on why and how DDT investments will drive overall Insurance business strategy and growth
    • Work closely with DDT leaders and journey owners to understand strategic priorities, product development and capital allocation prioritization

    What will you need to succeed?

    Must-Have:

    • 3 - 5 years of experience in strategy development, digital transformation, and product development
    • Exceptional ability to build strategic narratives and bring them to life using slides
    • A strong aptitude and comfort in learning digital systems and technologies
    • Very strong relationship management and communication skills
    • High degree of resourcefulness and ingenuity when solving barriers to success/progress
    • An exceptional can-do attitude with a strong drive to exceed expectations

    Nice to Have

    • 2+ years as a Consultant and/or Product Manager at a top tier consulting firm
    • Experience working in a financial institution
