    We have an opening for a talented and enthusiastic Bridge Engineering Intern to assist with the delivery of projects and to develop their future career as part of our Transportation Structures group in BC. We are looking for an individual who is a self-starter and can work independently to help us achieve our goals.

    Responsibilities:

  • Structural Analysis & Design related to bridges and other transportation infrastructure
  • Condition Evaluation and Inspection of existing structures
  • Review and Production of detailed structural design drawings and renderings
  • Use of structural design tools such as MIDAS Civil, CSiBridge, SAP2000, SFrame, AutoCAD, Mathcad and Google Sketchup
  • Expanding responsibilities will be assigned upon demonstrated competence from the successful candidate

    • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's (minimum completion of 3rd year) or Master's degree student in Civil or Structural Engineering, returning to school following the work term
  • Demonstrated writing skills will be an asset
  • Experience with structural analysis software, AutoCAD, Mathcad, Microsoft Office and visualization tools will be an asset
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation will be an asset
