    M&A ASSOCIATE / M&A MANAGER

    We specialize in acquiring, managing, and developing essential vertical market software companies worldwide.

    With a track record of over 1,000 acquisitions in diverse industries like aerospace, engineering, automotive, e-commerce, and construction, we focus on acquiring businesses rather than selling them.

    Publicly listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange as TSX: CSU, our market value exceeds $70 billion CAD.

    We are in search of a seasoned Associate or Manager to join our Mergers & Acquisitions team based in Toronto, operating under Vela Software Group.

    As a vital part of the M&A team, your role will involve:

    • Supporting the identification and engagement of vertical-market software businesses aligning with our acquisition criteria
    • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders like management, shareholders, and advisors
    • Analyzing financial and operational data of target companies, devising investment strategies, and developing comprehensive investment materials
    • Managing the later stages of acquisitions, conducting due diligence, and overseeing transaction execution
    • Assisting in the creation and evaluation of offers

    This role will allow you to contribute throughout the M&A process while collaborating with a dynamic investment team and senior leadership.

    • Exceptional academic background with an undergraduate business degree (MBA, CPA, and/or CFA are advantageous but not mandatory)
