    The Assistant Site Superintendent will assist the Site Superintendent in the day to day activities, which entails directing staff and contractors to ensure that the site runs smoothly and efficiently.

    Work closely with the Site Superintendent to prepare and execute project plans.
    Ensure full compliance of health and safety adherence on site at all times.

    Ensure that projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes and that quality standards are maintained.

    Assist in the management and coordination of all staff and trades on site.

    Construction Management Degree/Diploma (Preferred) or Construction Engineering Degree/Diploma
    Good communications skills, especially command of English (written and oral)
    Must have a working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code Part 9
    Proficiency in Excel/ Word/ Office operating systems
    Knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineering drawings and other documents
