    Why Work at CJPAC?

CJPAC aims to be the best place to work for dedicated, hard-working people who want to see Canada's Jewish and pro-Israel communities thrive, grow, and contribute to democracy.

Working here isn't always easy, but it's full of meaning. We aim to provide a supportive environment with constant opportunities to develop your skills, advance your careers, and find new ways to reach our objectives.

    The Position

CJPAC is seeking an Administrative and Programming Coordinator in Vancouver to support our BC operations, including programming, fundraising, events, outreach, and political engagement.

This is a hybrid position, with a flexible combination of in-office, home-based, and community work. Some evening and weekend work will be required.

We have ambitious plans to grow our network and strengthen our impact in British Columbia, and you'll play a key role in achieving our objectives. Along the way, you'll learn new skills, meet great people, and contribute to strengthening Canadian democracy.

    Administration and support for CJPAC events, such as booking venues, creating lists, follow up and tracking RSVPs;
Work closely and collaboratively with the Regional Director and all programming staff.

Work with the programming team to recruit and train political volunteers.
Tabling and presentations at community events to recruit new volunteers and program participants.
    Lead political training sessions.
Engage and connect community members to the campaigns/candidates of their choice during elections.
Any additional tasks that may be reasonably assigned.

Ability to produce excellent work under tight deadlines.
Strong oral and written communication skills and experience with public speaking.
Ability to multi-task and maintain files for multiple projects simultaneously.
Valid driver's license and regular access to a vehicle.
A team player who works well with others.
Research shows that many people, including women and people of colour, do not apply for positions unless they meet all the listed requirements. If you are excited about working with CJPAC and believe you can do this job, we want to hear from you.

Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. Applications should be sent to and should include a cover letter (max. one page) and resume by Friday, April 19th, 2024.
